The USG Durock Shower System is a fully bonded waterproofing system, designed to control moisture independently of the tile covering. The USG Durock Drain Kit is specifically engineered to fit into the USG Durock Shower Pans. By using the two in conjunction with each other you are able to create a walk-in tiled shower that has a top side waterproofing barrier. The shower drain bonding flange is made to accept a waterproofing membrane.

The USG Durock Drain Kit comes supplied with a 4" square drain grate that has an antique copper finish.  The Drain Assembly has a universal fit that accepts either a PVC or ABS drain connection, as both bushings are included in the package.

USG Durock Tiled Shower System - 48" x 48"

48" x 48" Square USG Shower System with a center drain location. All of the components you need in order to build a fully bonded, waterproof shower system that is made to accept tile covering. Create and install a long-lasting walk-in tiled shower stall that is backed by the reputation of the USG Durock name. The preformed, prepitched shower base can easily be installed as the pieces become perfectly interlocked. Installs using a modified or unmodified thinset. The drain assembly and shower tray disk will connect to a PVC or ABS connection, as both connections are included within the shower system. The tray disk will help you vertically and horizontally align the drain grate assembly, which is also custom fitted to the 48" shower pan. Airsled Appliance Movers

Tileprotection.com offers quality product in order to help you with your walk-in tile shower install.  We will be adding the Airsled products onto our website within the next few days.  The Airsled products allow you to move heavy appliances with a flip of a switch on a cushion of air.  Airsleds work with hovercraft technology allow heavy object to float while you push or pull the object to its final destination.  Imagine trying to move a Sub Zero appliance in order to install ceramic tile during an install.  This is a chore that could take hours, however with the airsled you could move that heavy equipment, single handily, within seconds with a flip of the on switch on the blower motor.

There are four models with a lift capacity of 600lbs, 800lbs, 1000lbs, and 1400lbs.
